Workshops and Classes

  • From time to time, Centre Pieces sponsors workshops and classes. The Guild has a fund to make it possible to attend these workshops if a Guild member is unable to afford the full cost. To apply, right-click on the link to the application form below, save the form to your computer, fill it out, and send it in to the following address:

    Centre Pieces Quilt Guild
    Attn: Workshop Scholarship Committee
    P.O. Box 657
    Boalsburg, PA 16827

A committee of three people will make the determination of whether the scholarship will be awarded. All scholarship awards are kept strictly confidential. Not even the workshop registrar or treasurer will know who received the money.

Upcoming Workshops and Classes

  • July Day Meeting/Workshop - Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 10am-3pm, Interpretive Center at the Transfer Station
Louise Fox will present a workshop on "What to do with an orphan block?"
  • Start gathering pieces for your toy box now so you will have plenty to play with in July. Practice blocks, leftover blocks, strips and bits left over from completed quilts, and wonderful rescued blocks from Scraps and Skeins are all part of a quilter’s toy box. Louise will help us see a new life for these things too dear to throw away but just taking up space now.

Reminder: Please wear your name tag so our members (both old and new) can greet you by name!
