    • May Evening Meeting - Tuesday, May 14, 2019, 7:00 Social, 7:30 Business Meeting, 8-9pm Program, Mount Nittany Middle School Library
      "Making Lancaster Diamond Samples" presentation led by Ann Holte.
    • This diamond-shaped block found in the Lancaster Diamond Sampler Quilt is unique to a small area of northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, from the mid-1800s. The "girl cousins" who lived in the area and sewed together seem to have invented a way to produce this shape by folding paper. Ann will describe the block's history, how it is constructed today, as well as variations of the block.

    • May Day Meeting/Workshop - Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 9am-3pm, St John's UCC, Boalsburg
      "Getting Started with the Lancaster Diamond" Workshop led by Ann Holte.

      This is a 6-hour workshop with time for lunch. Workshop is limited to 15 participants. The fee for the workshop is $30. Please contact Susan DeMetrick to sign up for the workshop and with any questions.

    • June Guild Picnic Joint Meeting - Tuesday, June 11, 2019, 3-7pm, Our Lady of Victory Social Hall, 820 Westerly Parkway
    • The picnic is potluck so dig out your best recipe to serve 8-10. Don't forget to bring a serving utensil for your dish. The guild will provide drinks, napkins, and other necessary items.

      Hilary Kleckner needs help setting up at 3pm.

      We have lots to do at the picnic in addition to socializing, of course. Elections for leadership positions and the 2019 Orphan Block Challenge Reveal will be part of the fun at this joint meeting.
